Cooper University Health Care Information Technology follows an Agile project management framework, with multiple Scrum teams chartered around business verticals, and business and IT partnering on the establishment of product roadmaps and prioritizing quick delivery of value to our patients and staff.
Cooper’s strategic organizational projects often require that individual scrum teams work together to achieve desired outcomes, requiring a scaled agile approach. The Agile Program Manager is responsible for planning, managing and coordinating interrelated work in a way that emphasizes the delivery of value for teams, stakeholders, and organizations. Program Managers oversee, plan, launch and execute initiatives in a complex iterative environment, both large wide sweeping and interrelated projects with intersecting goals, requirements and outcomes.
Agile program level management combines principles of classic project management and agile scrum, planning for key initiatives with scope definitions, detailed project plans and timelines, then working with the scrum teams to divide that plan into consumable user stories, incorporating agile concepts such as scope flexibility, transparency and deep connection to the customer.
