Job Title: Assembler Line Worker
Job Description

As an assembler line worker, you will play a crucial role in assembling various mechanical parts of a shallow water anchor. You will be stationed at your individual stand-up work station, utilizing hand and power tools to create high-quality products. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure the success of our assembly line operations.

Responsibilities

• Work within individual stand-up workstations using hand and power tools.
• Assemble mechanical parts such as metal poles, nuts, bolts, and pressure hoses.
• Manually lift pallets or workstations for assembly purposes.
• Utilize pneumatic drills, screwdrivers, staple guns, and presses.
• Use computers and machines for testing units.
• Perform quality checks on products and parts.
• Inspect and measure machined workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Count and assemble kits for other components.
• Wrap and box components.
• Clean machined parts and maintain work areas.
• Tend to machines and equipment other than machine tools.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with assembly (mechanical or electrical).
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and understand basic blueprints.
• Capability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift.
• Understanding of safety standards within manufacturing.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and cross-train.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly line work.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Mechanically inclined with production experience.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled facility alongside 120 dedicated colleagues. Our departments include administrative, assembly, and warehouse functions, promoting a collaborative atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TAMPA, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
