Caf team members will be responsible for providing industry leading hospitality and food service at the Community Caf inside a large corporate office building located at 3500 Lacey Rd, Downers Grove IL. The Caf will operate Monday-Friday and will be responsible for all food production and service during breakfast and lunch hours. Pay is determined by skills, qualifications, and experience. What You'll Do : Provide efficient, industry best hospitality at Point of Sales (POS) stations throughout lunch rush by greeting guests with a smile, offering menu knowledge as needed and quickly move guests through the line Quickly complete POS transactions by scanning and/or inputting items correctly, taking in cash and providing change or processing card transactions Responsible for cash drawer security, cash balance and adhering to all other aspects of cash handling policy Assist managers in developing a team of food safety champions through team collaboration to ensure all food safety/HACCP systems and standards are strictly adhered to and executed daily Stock supplies of paper goods, condiments, beverages, grocery and grab and go items Clean, organize and maintain all caf stations and dining room Assist with light prep, packaging, delivery and assembly of catering orders Answer phone professionally and answer any questions/requests from customers Other duties as assigned What You'll Need: At least 18 years of age Illinois Food Handler certification Guest service and cash handling experience preferred Ability to work effectively under pressure in a chaotic, fast-paced, fun environment Guest focused, friendly, engaging and constantly learning Hard-working, reliable and a great team player Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day Ability to lift and carry up to 5 0 pounds Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length Must be able to communicate in and read and understand English Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time Ability to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodation Cooper's Hawk is an equal opportunity employer.
