Job Description
Instructor / Clinical Nurse Educator Qualifications:
BSN required. MSN (or) DNP (or) PhD in Nursing preferred.
Current certification required or to be attained within two-year period from date of hire. Certification must be maintained while employed in this position.
Current nursing licensure in the Commonwealth of M assachusetts.
Minimum two years of clinical experience as a clinical nurse with demonstrated evidence of leadership progression.
Demonstrated evidence of competent nursing practice in clinical area or specialty.
Competency in adult learning principles and a sound clinical nursing knowledge base.

Additional Qualifications for Center for Nursing Excellence:
1. Teaching / simulation experience strongly preferred.
2. Current or recent clinical nurse educator experience preferred.
3. Preceptor experience preferred.
4. Current knowledge of clinical equipment (i.e. Baxter pump, Zoll, glucometer) preferred.
5. EPIC training required.
Other :
Weekend and Holidays will be required per the Contract.
