Position Description Join an innovative program—the first of its kind in Massachusetts—collaborating with the Department of Mental Health (DMH) to support youth and families in achieving their goals. The Educational/Vocational Specialist will help youth identify educational objectives, coordinate with schools, develop employment goals, build resumes, and enhance job readiness skills. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive educational and vocational services Support treatment and educational goals as part of a multidisciplinary team Teach job-seeking skills such as resume writing and interview preparation Assist youth in recognizing vocational and educational strengths and addressing mental health symptoms affecting work and learning Train team members to support vocational/educational goals Make referrals for testing, benefits, or other needs as per the treatment plan Coordinate care with families, providers, team members, and DMH Complete documentation according to program guidelines Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, or related field Experience working with children, youth, and families with mental health challenges Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willingness to learn and seek guidance Strong organizational skills and effective communication skills (verbal, written, computer) Experience working with schools is preferred but not required Apply Now - Send Resume & Cover Letter Date posted: 5/21/2025 Seniority level Entry level Employment type Part-time Job function Other Industries Mental Health Care Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at CCBC by 2x.
