Title: Head of Incubation Employment Type: Full-time Location: Remote First Look- Head of Incubation: The Arena Group is hiring a Head of Incubation to lead the launch and scale of new digital media brands. This high-impact role is perfect for a strategic builder with a track record of driving new content sites from nothing to 4M+ monthly pageviews. You'll oversee multiple site incubations across verticals like news, lifestyle, sports, and finance-developing growth strategies, operational playbooks, and transition plans for long-term brand teams. Success in this role requires deep expertise in SEO, Google Discover, and digital content ecosystems. If you're driven to build and grow high-performing media properties, we'd love to connect. The Arena Group's expected annualized base salary range for this position is currently $175,000 - $250,000. Actual salaries will vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, education, experience and other factors permitted by law. The listed salary range is but one component of The Arena Group's total compensation and benefits available to its employees. What You'll Do: Identify and validate high-potential domain opportunities, optimizing for rapid audience growth across diverse verticals. Launch and incubate multiple digital media sites in parallel, each with aggressive growth targets and a path to 4M+ monthly pageviews. Develop and execute scalable, SEO- and Discover-friendly strategies to drive traffic and long-term engagement. Define clear stages of site development and establish frameworks to assess when to invest, scale, pivot, or sunset properties. Lead the transition process for mature sites, including seamless knowledge transfer to long-term brand teams. Implement standardized contributor payment structures, including per-post rates and RPM-based revenue share models. Create and optimize editorial plans to boost visibility through Google Discover, Google News, Search, and syndication channels. Recruit, mentor, and manage Entrepreneurial Publishers, empowering them to execute day-to-day editorial and growth operations. Collaborate closely with the General Manager to set performance KPIs and oversee execution across the full incubation portfolio. What You'll Bring: A highly entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for testing, learning, and building from the ground up. Strong editorial instincts backed by operational rigor and executional discipline. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally-comfortable working across data, design, editorial, and executive teams. Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, analytics dashboards, and programmatic revenue tools.
