We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative with a strong background in construction bidding and quoting to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of construction services, and can confidently manage the end-to-end quoting process to support business growth.

This organization is growing substantially-going through 3 more acquisitions this summer! This is an amazing opportunity for someone more entry level, looking to grow in their career! This position is in the office 4 days/week and remote one day.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative with a strong background in construction bidding and quoting to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of construction services, and can confidently manage the end-to-end quoting process to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound and outbound sales inquiries related to construction service projects.
• Prepare accurate and competitive bids, proposals, and quotes based on project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and field service teams to gather necessary information for pricing and scope development.
• Track and follow up on submitted bids and proposals to drive closure and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Maintain CRM records with up-to-date customer interactions, quote status, and project details.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and procurement teams.
• Interpret construction documents (blueprints, specifications, etc.) to develop accurate scopes of work.
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and upselling additional services to existing clients.
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks, reporting, and coordination as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in inside sales, estimating, or quoting within the construction or service industry.
• Strong understanding of construction bidding processes, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with estimating software is a plus.
• Self-starter with a customer-focused mindset and a collaborative attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or general contracting services.
• Knowledge of local and regional construction markets.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
