About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Managing Director to lead its Evidence Synthesis Decision Modeling (ESDM) team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for innovative methods in health economics and outcomes research, a confident leader with a proven track record of success, and a respected figure in the market with a strong client base and thought leadership. This role is pivotal in the growth and development of the ESDM capability, requiring the formation of new business, cultivation of key client relationships, and the management of team performance and culture. The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in a relevant field, at least 15 years of experience in HEOR, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs, and health technology assessment. Key responsibilities for the Senior Vice President, Managing Director include leading a team of researchers, overseeing evidence synthesis and economic model development, and proposing tailored solutions to research questions. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to align business and team development goals, proactively identify new business opportunities, and collaborate across business units. Day-to-day activities will involve leading multiple projects, making final decisions on project deliverables, and contributing to the team's short and long-term strategic planning. The candidate should be adept at financial oversight, with a focus on maximizing team efficiency and project profitability, and be capable of achieving revenue and sales targets through direct client engagement. Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills are essential, as is the ability to establish trusted partnerships with clients and drive new business opportunities.
