JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced e-commerce leader for a temporary role covering a maternity leave. Reporting to the VP of E-Commerce and Marketing, this role will be responsible for managing and optimizing our direct-to-consumer (DTC) online storefront primarily serving the US market, as well as overseeing our Amazon presence through our agency partner. The ideal candidate will maintain and enhance our current e-commerce strategy while ensuring business continuity during this transitional period. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 4–6 months.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DTC E-commerce Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our direct-to-consumer website
• Monitor and analyze site performance metrics and implement strategies to improve conversion rate and average order value
• Manage internal reporting documents and communications to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experience
• Manage the e-commerce product catalog, pricing, and promotions
• Ensure inventory alignment between systems and troubleshoot any discrepancies
• Collaborate with Creative team to project manage site specific asset needs

Amazon Channel Management

• Oversee our Amazon marketplace strategy in partnership with our agency
• Review and approve content, pricing, and promotional strategies
• Analyze Amazon sales performance and provide strategic direction
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Amazon agency relationship
• Share reporting with internal stakeholders
• In collaboration with the agency and Operations team, manage inventory to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product.
• Manage 2 direct reports, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
• Delegate e-commerce tasks appropriately and monitor progress
• Facilitate communication between the e-commerce team and other departments

Analytics & Reporting

• Track and report on key performance indicators across all e-commerce channels
• Create regular performance reports for senior leadership
• Identify trends and opportunities for growth based on data analysis
• Use analytics to inform strategic decisions

Project Management

• Oversee any ongoing e-commerce projects during the maternity cover period
• Maintain project timelines and ensure successful implementation
• Collaborate with IT, marketing, and other departments on e-commerce initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of e-commerce management experience, preferably in consumer goods or relevant industry
• Proven track record of managing successful DTC e-commerce operations
• Experience with Amazon marketplace management and working with agencies
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience managing small teams effectively
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar
• Experience with inventory management systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
• Knowledge of Klaviyo, Postscript, Elevar, or other similar relevant industry platforms
• Understanding of SEO principles as they relate to e-commerce

BENEFITS

The compensation for this temporary role is based on an estimated pay range of $2,307–$2,884/weekly . Actual placement within the range will depend on several factors, including experience, education, skills, and location.
